THANK YOU!
After graduating from Phillips Exeter Academy, Bob decided to travel across the U.S. and work in Europe for two years instead of attending college, a decision he still regards as one of the most rewarding he’s ever made. Working at a young age at a golf course, then a rent-a-car business, and finally in several restaurants, Bob honed his expertise in customer service. After entering the construction industry as a carpenter in the early 1980s, Bob quickly rose through the ranks and ultimately founded BEEM Construction in 1987 and then merged his company and became the head of the growing FBN team in 1995. FBN has grown to become one of the preeminent General Contractors in the Greater Boston Area, specializing in custom, luxury building and remodeling.
Bob is proud that the success of FBN has allowed him to support many charitable organizations, the most important of which is of course CUI. He marvels at the important work that they do and considers their mission of paramount importance. In addition, he supports regularly; The Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Fund, The Ellie Fund, Big Sisters of Massachusetts, Families First, and others. He participated in the two-day Pan Mass Challenge for the last 12 years in support of The Dana Farber Hospital in Boston.
He enjoys FBN’s fun, collaborative atmosphere and heading a team that is incredibly easy-going about pretty much everything except customer service. Bob tries to ensure that every client trusts that he and his team always have their best interests at heart. The best part of his job is proving daily that nice guys don’t always finish last.
Bob is happiest spending time with his wife Sylvia and his family, daughter Jess and son Bobby. An avid golfer, beach and water lover, he makes sure to get his fair share of that in every year as well.
